וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיְדַבֵּ֛ר אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה אֶל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
31:1
aAn ancient Heb. ms. and the Septuagint read: “When Moses had finished speaking …”; cf. 29.1.Moses went and spoke-a these things to all Israel.

And Moses went and spoke these words unto all Israel.
ל"א:א׳
וַאֲזַל משֶׁה וּמַלִּיל יָת פִּתְגָּמַיָּא הָאִלֵּין עִם כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל:
ל"א:ב׳
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם בֶּן־מֵאָה֩ וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים שָׁנָ֤ה אָנֹכִי֙ הַיּ֔וֹם לֹא־אוּכַ֥ל ע֖וֹד לָצֵ֣את וְלָב֑וֹא וַֽיהוָה֙ אָמַ֣ר אֵלַ֔י לֹ֥א תַעֲבֹ֖ר אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֥ן הַזֶּֽה׃
31:2
He said to them: I am now one hundred and twenty years old, I can no longer bLit. “come and go.”be active.-b Moreover, the LORD has said to me, “You shall not go across yonder Jordan.”
31:2
And he said unto them: ‘I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in; and the LORD hath said unto me: Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
ל"א:ב׳
וַאֲמַר לְהוֹן בַּר מְאָה וְעֶשְׂרִין שְׁנִין אֲנָא יוֹמָא דֵין לֵית אֲנָא יָכִיל עוֹד לְמִפַּק וּלְמֵעָל וַיְיָ אֲמַר לִי לָא תְעִבַּר יָת יַרְדְּנָא הָדֵין:
וילך משה וגו', אנכי היום. הַיּוֹם מָלאוּ יָמַי וּשְׁנוֹתַי, בְּיוֹם זֶה נוֹלַדְתִּי וּבְיוֹם זֶה אָמוּת (סוטה י"ג):
לא אוכל עוד לצאת ולבוא. יָכוֹל שֶׁתָּשַׁשׁ כֹּחוֹ, תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר "לֹא כָהֲתָה עֵינוֹ וְלא נָס לֵחֹה", אֶלָּא מַהוּ לא אוכל? אֵינִי רַשַּׁאי, שֶׁנִּטְּלָה מִמֶּנִּי הָרְשׁוּת וְנִתְּנָה לִיהוֹשֻׁעַ. דָּ"אַ — לצאת ולבוא. בְּדִבְרֵי תוֹרָה, מְלַמֵּד שֶׁנִּסְתְּמוּ מִמֶּנּוּ מָסוֹרוֹת וּמַעְיְנוֹת הַחָכְמָה (סוטה י"ג):
וה' אמר אלי. זֶהוּ פֵּרוּשׁ לא אוכל עוד לצאת ולבוא — לְפִי שֶׁה' אמר אלי:
ל"א:ג׳
יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ ה֣וּא ׀ עֹבֵ֣ר לְפָנֶ֗יךָ הֽוּא־יַשְׁמִ֞יד אֶת־הַגּוֹיִ֥ם הָאֵ֛לֶּה מִלְּפָנֶ֖יךָ וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֑ם יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ ה֚וּא עֹבֵ֣ר לְפָנֶ֔יךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃
31:3
The LORD your God Himself will cross over before you; and He Himself will wipe out those nations from your path and you shall dispossess them.—Joshua is the one who shall cross before you, as the LORD has spoken.—
31:3
The LORD thy God, He will go over before thee; He will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt dispossess them; and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.

יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ מֵימְרֵיהּ יֵעִבַר קֳדָמָךְ הוּא יְשֵׁצֵי יָת עַמְמַיָּא הָאִלֵּין מִקֳּדָמָךְ וְתֵירְתִנּוּן יְהוֹשֻׁעַ הוּא עָבֵר קֳדָמָךְ כְּמָא דִי מַלִּיל יְיָ:
