Leviticus 13:6–13:17
י"ג:ו׳ וְרָאָה֩ הַכֹּהֵ֨ן אֹת֜וֹ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי֮ שֵׁנִית֒ וְהִנֵּה֙ כֵּהָ֣ה הַנֶּ֔גַע וְלֹא־פָשָׂ֥ה הַנֶּ֖גַע בָּע֑וֹר וְטִהֲר֤וֹ הַכֹּהֵן֙ מִסְפַּ֣חַת הִ֔יא וְכִבֶּ֥ס בְּגָדָ֖יו וְטָהֵֽר׃
13:6 On the seventh day the priest shall examine him again: if the affection has faded and has not spread on the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a rash; he shall wash his clothes, and he shall be clean.
13:6 And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day; and, behold, if the plague be dim, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is a scab; and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
י"ג:ו׳ וְיֶחֱזֵי כַהֲנָא יָתֵיהּ בְּיוֹמָא שְׁבִיעָאָה תִּנְיָנוּת וְהָא עַמְיָא מַכְתָּשָׁא וְלָא אוֹסֵף מַכְתָּשָׁא בְּמַשְׁכָּא וִידַכִּנֵּיהּ כַּהֲנָא עֲדִיתָא הִיא וִיצַבַּע לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיִדְכֵּי:
י"ג:ז׳ וְאִם־פָּשֹׂ֨ה תִפְשֶׂ֤ה הַמִּסְפַּ֙חַת֙ בָּע֔וֹר אַחֲרֵ֧י הֵרָאֹת֛וֹ אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֖ן לְטָהֳרָת֑וֹ וְנִרְאָ֥ה שֵׁנִ֖ית אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
13:7 But if the rash should spread on the skin after he has presented himself to the priest and been pronounced clean, he shall present himself again to the priest.
13:7 But if the scab spread abroad in the skin, after that he hath shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the priest again.
י"ג:ז׳ וְאִם אוֹסָפָא תוֹסֵף עֲדִיתָא בְּמַשְׁכָּא בָּתַר דִּאִתַּחֲזִי לְכַהֲנָא לְדַכּוּתֵיהּ וְיִתַּחֲזִי תִנְיָנוּת לְכַהֲנָא:
י"ג:ח׳ וְרָאָה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְהִנֵּ֛ה פָּשְׂתָ֥ה הַמִּסְפַּ֖חַת בָּע֑וֹר וְטִמְּא֥וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן צָרַ֥עַת הִֽוא׃ (פ)
13:8 And if the priest sees that the rash has spread on the skin, the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is leprosy.
13:8 And the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scab be spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is leprosy.
י"ג:ח׳ וְיֶחֱזֵי כַהֲנָא וְהָא אוֹסֵפַת עֲדִיתָא בְּמַשְׁכָּא וִיסָאֵבִנֵּיהּ כַּהֲנָא סְגִירוּתָא הִיא:
י"ג:ט׳ נֶ֣גַע צָרַ֔עַת כִּ֥י תִהְיֶ֖ה בְּאָדָ֑ם וְהוּבָ֖א אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
13:9 When a person has a scaly affection, it shall be reportedcSee note a at 13.2. to the priest.
13:9 When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest.
י"ג:ט׳ מַכְתַּשׁ סְגִירוּ אֲרֵי תְהֵי בֶּאֱנָשָׁא וְיִתֵּתֵי לְוָת כַּהֲנָא:
י"ג:י׳ וְרָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֤ה שְׂאֵת־לְבָנָה֙ בָּע֔וֹר וְהִ֕יא הָפְכָ֖ה שֵׂעָ֣ר לָבָ֑ן וּמִֽחְיַ֛ת בָּשָׂ֥ר חַ֖י בַּשְׂאֵֽת׃
13:10 If the priest finds on the skin a white swelling which has turned some hair white, with dOthers “quick raw flesh.”a patch of undiscolored flesh-d in the swelling,
13:10 And the priest shall look, and, behold, if there be a white rising in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising,
י"ג:י׳ וְיֶחֱזֵי כַהֲנָא וְהָא עַמְקָא חַוְּרָא בְּמַשְׁכָּא וְהִיא הֲפָכַת שֵׂעָר לְחִוָּר וְרשֶׁם בִּסְרָא חַיְתָא בְּעַמִּקְתָּא:
י"ג:י"א צָרַ֨עַת נוֹשֶׁ֤נֶת הִוא֙ בְּע֣וֹר בְּשָׂר֔וֹ וְטִמְּא֖וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֑ן לֹ֣א יַסְגִּרֶ֔נּוּ כִּ֥י טָמֵ֖א הֽוּא׃
13:11 it is chronic leprosy on the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; he need not isolate him, for he is unclean.
13:11 it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; he shall not shut him up; for he is unclean.
י"ג:י"א סְגִירוּת עַתִּיקָא הִיא בִּמְשַׁךְ בִּסְרֵיהּ וִיסָאֵבִנֵּיהּ כַּהֲנָא לָא יַסְגְּרִנֵיהּ אֲרֵי מְסָאָב הוּא:
י"ג:י"ב וְאִם־פָּר֨וֹחַ תִּפְרַ֤ח הַצָּרַ֙עַת֙ בָּע֔וֹר וְכִסְּתָ֣ה הַצָּרַ֗עַת אֵ֚ת כָּל־ע֣וֹר הַנֶּ֔גַע מֵרֹאשׁ֖וֹ וְעַד־רַגְלָ֑יו לְכָל־מַרְאֵ֖ה עֵינֵ֥י הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
13:12 If the eruption spreads out over the skin so that it covers all the skin of the affected person from head to foot, wherever the priest can see—
13:12 And if the leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his feet, as far as appeareth to the priest;
י"ג:י"ב וְאִם מִסְגָּא תִסְגֵּי סְגִירוּתָא בְּמַשְׁכָּא וְתַחֲפֵי סְגִירוּתָא יָת כָּל מְשַׁךְ מַכְתָּשָׁא מֵרֵישֵׁיהּ וְעַד רַגְלוֹהִי לְכָל חֵיזוּ עֵינֵי כַהֲנָא:
י"ג:י"ג וְרָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֨ה כִסְּתָ֤ה הַצָּרַ֙עַת֙ אֶת־כָּל־בְּשָׂר֔וֹ וְטִהַ֖ר אֶת־הַנָּ֑גַע כֻּלּ֛וֹ הָפַ֥ךְ לָבָ֖ן טָה֥וֹר הֽוּא׃
13:13 if the priest sees that the eruption has covered the whole body—he shall pronounce the affected person clean; he is clean, for he has turned all white.
13:13 then the priest shall look; and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague; it is all turned white: he is clean.
י"ג:י"ג וְיֶחֱזֵי כַהֲנָא וְהָא חֲפַת סְגִירוּתָא יָת כָּל בִּסְרֵיהּ וִידַכִּי יָת מַכְתָּשָׁא כֻּלֵּיהּ אִתְהֲפִיךְ לְמֶחֱוַר דְּכֵי הוּא:
י"ג:י"ד וּבְי֨וֹם הֵרָא֥וֹת בּ֛וֹ בָּשָׂ֥ר חַ֖י יִטְמָֽא׃
13:14 But as soon as undiscolored flesh appears in it, he shall be unclean;
13:14 But whensoever raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.
י"ג:י"ד וּבְיוֹמָא דְאִתַּחֲזִי בֵיהּ בִּסְרָא חַיָּא יְהֵי מְסָאָב:
י"ג:ט"ו וְרָאָ֧ה הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־הַבָּשָׂ֥ר הַחַ֖י וְטִמְּא֑וֹ הַבָּשָׂ֥ר הַחַ֛י טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא צָרַ֥עַת הֽוּא׃
13:15 when the priest sees the undiscolored flesh, he shall pronounce him unclean. The undiscolored flesh is unclean; it is leprosy.
13:15 And the priest shall look on the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean; the raw flesh is unclean: it is leprosy.
י"ג:ט"ו וְיֶחֱזֵי כַהֲנָא יָת בִּסְרָא חַיָּא וִיסָאֵבִנֵּיהּ בִּסְרָא חַיָּא מְסָאָב הוּא סְגִירוּת הוּא:
י"ג:ט"ז א֣וֹ כִ֥י יָשׁ֛וּב הַבָּשָׂ֥ר הַחַ֖י וְנֶהְפַּ֣ךְ לְלָבָ֑ן וּבָ֖א אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
13:16 But if the undiscolored flesh again turns white, he shall come to the priest,
13:16 But if the raw flesh again be turned into white, then he shall come unto the priest;
י"ג:ט"ז אוֹ אֲרֵי יְתוּב בִּסְרָא חַיָּא וְיִתְהֲפִיךְ לְמֶחֱוָר וְיִתֵּתֵי לְוָת כַּהֲנָא:
י"ג:י"ז וְרָאָ֙הוּ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְהִנֵּ֛ה נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ הַנֶּ֖גַע לְלָבָ֑ן וְטִהַ֧ר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־הַנֶּ֖גַע טָה֥וֹר הֽוּא׃ (פ)
13:17 and the priest shall examine him: if the affection has turned white, the priest shall pronounce the affected person clean; he is clean.
13:17 and the priest shall look on him; and, behold, if the plague be turned into white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.
י"ג:י"ז וְיֶחֱזִנֵּיהּ כַּהֲנָא וְהָא אִתְהֲפִיךְ מַכְתָּשָׁא לְמֶחֱוָר וִידַכֵּי כַהֲנָא יָת מַכְתָּשָׁא דְּכֵי הוּא:
