ט׳:ח׳
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל־נֹ֔חַ וְאֶל־בָּנָ֥יו אִתּ֖וֹ לֵאמֹֽר׃
9:8
And God said to Noah and to his sons with him,

And God spoke unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying:
ט׳:ח׳
וַאֲמַר יְיָ לְנֹחַ וְלִבְנוֹהִי עִמֵּיהּ לְמֵימָר:
ט׳:ט׳
וַאֲנִ֕י הִנְנִ֥י מֵקִ֛ים אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֖י אִתְּכֶ֑ם וְאֶֽת־זַרְעֲכֶ֖ם אַֽחֲרֵיכֶֽם׃
9:9
“I now establish My covenant with you and your offspring to come,

’As for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
ט׳:ט׳
וַאֲנָא הָא אֲנָא מֵקִים יָת קְיָמִי עִמְּכוֹן וְעִם בְּנֵיכוֹן בַּתְרֵיכוֹן:
ואני הנני. מַסְכִּים אֲנִי עִמְּךָ, שֶׁהָיָה נֹחַ דוֹאֵג לַעֲסֹק בִּפְרִיָּה וּרְבִיָּה עַד שֶׁהִבְטִיחוֹ הַקָּבָּ"ה שֶׁלֹּא לְשַׁחֵת הָעוֹלָם עוֹד, וְכֵן עָשָׂה וּבָאַחֲרוֹנָה אָמַר לוֹ הִנְנִי מַסְכִּים לַעֲשׂוֹת קִיּוּם וְחִזּוּק בְּרִית לְהַבְטָחָתִי וְאֶתֵּן לְךָ אוֹת:
ט׳:י׳
וְאֵ֨ת כָּל־נֶ֤פֶשׁ הַֽחַיָּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתְּכֶ֔ם בָּע֧וֹף בַּבְּהֵמָ֛ה וּֽבְכָל־חַיַּ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ אִתְּכֶ֑ם מִכֹּל֙ יֹצְאֵ֣י הַתֵּבָ֔ה לְכֹ֖ל חַיַּ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃
9:10
and with every living thing that is with you—birds, cattle, and every wild beast as well—all that have come out of the ark, every living thing on earth.
9:10
and with every living creature that is with you, the fowl, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you; of all that go out of the ark, even every beast of the earth.
ט׳:י׳
וְעִם כָּל נַפְשָׁא חַיְתָא דְּעִמְּכוֹן בְּעוֹפָא בִבְעִירָא וּבְכָל חֵיוַת אַרְעָא דְּעִמְּכוֹן מִכֹּל נַפְקֵי תֵבוֹתָא לְכֹל חַיַּת אַרְעָא:
חית הארץ אתכם. הֵם הַמִּתְהַלְּכִים עִם הַבְּרִיּוֹת:
מכל יוצאי התבה. לְהָבִיא שְׁקָצִים וּרְמָשִׂים:
חית הארץ. לְהָבִיא הַמַּזִּיקִין, שֶׁאֵינָן בִּכְלַל הַחַיָּה אֲשֶׁר אִתְּכֶם, שֶׁאֵין הִלּוּכָן עִם הַבְּרִיוֹת:
ט׳:י"א
וַהֲקִמֹתִ֤י אֶת־בְּרִיתִי֙ אִתְּכֶ֔ם וְלֹֽא־יִכָּרֵ֧ת כָּל־בָּשָׂ֛ר ע֖וֹד מִמֵּ֣י הַמַּבּ֑וּל וְלֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֥ה ע֛וֹד מַבּ֖וּל לְשַׁחֵ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃
9:11
I will maintain My covenant with you: never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”
9:11
And I will establish My covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of the flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.’
ט׳:י"א
וְאָקֵם יָת קְיָמִי עִמְּכוֹן וְלָא יִשְׁתֵּיצֵי כָל בִּשְׂרָא עוֹד מִמֵּי טוֹפָנָא וְלָא יְהֵי עוֹד טוֹפָנָא לְחַבָּלָא אַרְעָא:
והקמותי. אֶעֱשֶׂה קִיּוּם לִבְרִיתִי. וּמַהוּ קִיּוּמוֹ? אוֹת הַקֶּשֶׁת כְּמוֹ שֶׁמְּסַיֵּם וְהוֹלֵךְ:
ט׳:י"ב
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים זֹ֤את אֽוֹת־הַבְּרִית֙ אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִ֣י נֹתֵ֗ן בֵּינִי֙ וּבֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם וּבֵ֛ין כָּל־נֶ֥פֶשׁ חַיָּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתְּכֶ֑ם לְדֹרֹ֖ת עוֹלָֽם׃
9:12
God further said, “This is the sign that I set for the covenant between Me and you, and every living creature with you, for all ages to come.
9:12
And God said: ‘This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
ט׳:י"ב
וַאֲמַר יְיָ דָּא אָת קְיָם דִּי אֲנָא יָהֵב בֵּין מֵימְרִי וּבֵינֵיכוֹן וּבֵין כָּל נַפְשָׁא חַיְתָא דִּי עִמְּכוֹן לְדָרֵי עַלְמָא:
לדרת עולם. נִכְתַּב חָסֵר, שֶׁיֵּשׁ דּוֹרוֹת שֶׁלֹּא הֻצְרְכוּ לְאוֹת לְפִי שֶׁצַּדִּיקִים גְּמוּרִים הָיוּ, כְּמוֹ דּוֹרוֹ שֶׁל חִזְקִיָּהוּ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה וְדוֹרוֹ שֶׁל רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן בֶּן יוֹחַאי (ב"ר):
ט׳:י"ג
אֶת־קַשְׁתִּ֕י נָתַ֖תִּי בֶּֽעָנָ֑ן וְהָֽיְתָה֙ לְא֣וֹת בְּרִ֔ית בֵּינִ֖י וּבֵ֥ין הָאָֽרֶץ׃
9:13
I have set My bow in the clouds, and it shall serve as a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

I have set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.
ט׳:י"ג
יָת קַשְׁתִּי יְהָבִית בַּעֲנָנָא וּתְהִי לְאָת קְיָם בֵּין מֵימְרִי וּבֵין אַרְעָא:
ט׳:י"ד
וְהָיָ֕ה בְּעַֽנְנִ֥י עָנָ֖ן עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְנִרְאֲתָ֥ה הַקֶּ֖שֶׁת בֶּעָנָֽן׃
9:14
When I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow appears in the clouds,

And it shall come to pass, when I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow is seen in the cloud,
ט׳:י"ד
וִיהִי בַּעֲנָנוּתִי עֲנָנָא עַל אַרְעָא וְתִתְחֲזֵי קַשְׁתָּא בַּעֲנָנָא:
בענני ענן. כְּשֶׁתַּעֲלֶה בְמַחֲשָׁבָה לְפָנַי לְהָבִיא חֹשֶׁךְ וַאֲבַדּוֹן לָעוֹלָם:
ט׳:ט"ו
וְזָכַרְתִּ֣י אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֗י אֲשֶׁ֤ר בֵּינִי֙ וּבֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם וּבֵ֛ין כָּל־נֶ֥פֶשׁ חַיָּ֖ה בְּכָל־בָּשָׂ֑ר וְלֹֽא־יִֽהְיֶ֨ה ע֤וֹד הַמַּ֙יִם֙ לְמַבּ֔וּל לְשַׁחֵ֖ת כָּל־בָּשָֽׂר׃
9:15
I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature among all flesh, so that the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
9:15
that I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
ט׳:ט"ו
וּדְכִירְנָא יָת קְיָמִי דִּי בֵין מֵימְרִי וּבֵינֵיכוֹן וּבֵין כָּל נַפְשָׁא חַיְתָא בְּכָל בִּשְׂרָא וְלָא יְהֵא עוֹד מַיָּא לְטוֹפָנָא לְחַבָּלָא כָל בִּשְׂרָא:
ט׳:ט"ז
וְהָיְתָ֥ה הַקֶּ֖שֶׁת בֶּֽעָנָ֑ן וּרְאִיתִ֗יהָ לִזְכֹּר֙ בְּרִ֣ית עוֹלָ֔ם בֵּ֣ין אֱלֹהִ֔ים וּבֵין֙ כָּל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ חַיָּ֔ה בְּכָל־בָּשָׂ֖ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃
9:16
When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures, all flesh that is on earth.
9:16
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.’
ט׳:ט"ז
וּתְהֵי קַשְׁתָּא בַּעֲנָנָא וְאֵחֲזִנַּהּ לְמִדְכַּר קְיַם עָלָם בֵּין מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ וּבֵין כָּל נַפְשָׁא חַיְתָא בְּכָל בִּשְׂרָא דִּי עַל אַרְעָא:
בין אלהים ובין כל נפש חיה. בֵּין מִדַּת הַדִּין שֶׁל מַעְלָה וּבֵינֵיכֶם, שֶׁהָיָה לוֹ לִכְתֹּב בֵּינִי וּבֵין כָּל נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה, אֶלָּא זֶהוּ מִדְרָשׁוֹ כְּשֶׁתָּבֹא מִדַּת הַדִּין לְקַטְרֵג עֲלֵיכֶם לְחַיֵּב אֶתְכֶם, אֲנִי רוֹאֶה אֶת הָאוֹת וְנִזְכָּר:
ט׳:י"ז
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶל־נֹ֑חַ זֹ֤את אֽוֹת־הַבְּרִית֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֲקִמֹ֔תִי בֵּינִ֕י וּבֵ֥ין כָּל־בָּשָׂ֖ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (פ)
9:17
That,” God said to Noah, “shall be the sign of the covenant that I have established between Me and all flesh that is on earth.”
9:17
And God said unto Noah: ‘This is the token of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is upon the earth.’
ט׳:י"ז
וַאֲמַר יְיָ לְנֹחַ דָּא אָת קְיָם דִּי אֲקֵמִית בֵּין מֵימְרִי וּבֵין כָּל בִּשְׂרָא דִּי עַל אַרְעָא:
זאת אות הברית. הֶרְאָהוּ הַקֶּשֶׁת וְאָמַר לוֹ הֲרֵי הָאוֹת שֶׁאָמַרְתִּי:
