וְעַתָּה֙ אַל־תִּירָ֔אוּ אָנֹכִ֛י אֲכַלְכֵּ֥ל אֶתְכֶ֖ם וְאֶֽת־טַפְּכֶ֑ם וַיְנַחֵ֣ם אוֹתָ֔ם וַיְדַבֵּ֖ר עַל־לִבָּֽם׃
50:21
And so, fear not. I will sustain you and your children.” Thus he reassured them, speaking kindly to them.

Now therefore fear ye not; I will sustain you, and your little ones.’ And he comforted them, and spoke kindly unto them.
נ׳:כ"א
וּכְעַן לָא תִדַּחֲלוּן אֲנָא אֵזוּן יָתְכוֹן וְיָת טַפְלְכוֹן וְנַחֵם יָתְהוֹן וּמַלֵּל תַּנְחוּמִין עַל לִבְּהוֹן:
וידבר על לבם. דְּבָרִים הַמִּתְקַבְּלִים עַל הַלֵּב – עַד שֶׁלֹּא יְרַדְתֶּם לְכָאן הָיוּ מְרַנְּנִים עָלַי שֶׁאֲנִי עֶבֶד, עַל יְדֵיכֶם נוֹדַע שֶׁאֲנִי בֶן חֹרִין, וְאִם אֲנִי הוֹרֵג אֶתְכֶם, מָה הַבְּרִיוֹת אוֹמְרוֹת? כַּת שֶׁל בַּחוּרִים רָאָה וְנִשְׁתַּבֵּחַ בָּהֶם וְאָמַר אַחַי הֵם, וּלְבַסּוֹף הָרַג אוֹתָם; יֵשׁ לְךָ אָח שֶׁהוֹרֵג אֶת אֶחָיו? דָּבָר אַחֵר, עֲשָׂרָה נֵרוֹת לֹא יָכְלוּ לְכַבּוֹת נֵר אֶ' וְכוּ':

וַיֵּ֤שֶׁב יוֹסֵף֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם ה֖וּא וּבֵ֣ית אָבִ֑יו וַיְחִ֣י יוֹסֵ֔ף מֵאָ֥ה וָעֶ֖שֶׂר שָׁנִֽים׃

So Joseph and his father’s household remained in Egypt. Joseph lived one hundred and ten years.

And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father’s house; and Joseph lived a hundred and ten years.

וִיתֵיב יוֹסֵף בְּמִצְרַיִם הוּא וּבֵית אָבוּהִי וַחֲיָא יוֹסֵף מְאָה וַעֲסַר שְׁנִין:
נ׳:כ"ג
וַיַּ֤רְא יוֹסֵף֙ לְאֶפְרַ֔יִם בְּנֵ֖י שִׁלֵּשִׁ֑ים גַּ֗ם בְּנֵ֤י מָכִיר֙ בֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה יֻלְּד֖וּ עַל־בִּרְכֵּ֥י יוֹסֵֽף׃
50:23
Joseph lived to see children of the third generation of Ephraim; the children of Machir son of Manasseh were likewise born upon Joseph’s knees.

And Joseph saw Ephraim’s children of the third generation; the children also of Machir the son of Manasseh were born upon Joseph’s knees.

וַחֲזָא יוֹסֵף לְאֶפְרַיִם בְּנִין תְּלִיתָאִין אַף בְּנֵי מָכִיר בַּר מְנַשֶּׁה אִתְיְלִידוּ וְרַבִּי יוֹסֵף:
על ברכי יוסף. כְּתַרְגּוּמוֹ גִּדְּלָן בֵּין בִּרְכָּיו:
נ׳:כ"ד
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יוֹסֵף֙ אֶל־אֶחָ֔יו אָנֹכִ֖י מֵ֑ת וֵֽאלֹהִ֞ים פָּקֹ֧ד יִפְקֹ֣ד אֶתְכֶ֗ם וְהֶעֱלָ֤ה אֶתְכֶם֙ מִן־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את אֶל־הָאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֛ע לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם לְיִצְחָ֖ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹֽב׃
50:24
At length, Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die. God will surely take notice of you and bring you up from this land to the land that He promised on oath to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”
50:24
And Joseph said unto his brethren: ‘I die; but God will surely remember you, and bring you up out of this land unto the land which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.’

וַאֲמַר יוֹסֵף לַאֲחוֹהִי אֲנָא מָאִית וַייָ מִדְכַּר דְּכִיר יָתְכוֹן וְיִסַּק יָתְכוֹן מִן אַרְעָא הָדָא לְאַרְעָא דִּי קַיִּים לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב:
נ׳:כ"ה
וַיַּשְׁבַּ֣ע יוֹסֵ֔ף אֶת־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר פָּקֹ֨ד יִפְקֹ֤ד אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶתְכֶ֔ם וְהַעֲלִתֶ֥ם אֶת־עַצְמֹתַ֖י מִזֶּֽה׃
50:25
So Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, “When God has taken notice of you, you shall carry up my bones from here.”
50:25
And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying: ‘God will surely remember you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.’

וְאוֹמֵי יוֹסֵף יָת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמֵימָר מִדְכַּר דְּכִיר יְיָ יָתְכוֹן וְתַסְּקוּן יָת גַּרְמַי מִכָּא:
נ׳:כ"ו
וַיָּ֣מָת יוֹסֵ֔ף בֶּן־מֵאָ֥ה וָעֶ֖שֶׂר שָׁנִ֑ים וַיַּחַנְט֣וּ אֹת֔וֹ וַיִּ֥ישֶׂם בָּאָר֖וֹן בְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃

Joseph died at the age of one hundred and ten years; and he was embalmed and placed in a coffin in Egypt.

So Joseph died, being a hundred and ten years old. And they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.
