וַיַּעֲשׂ֨וּ כָל־חֲכַם־לֵ֜ב בְּעֹשֵׂ֧י הַמְּלָאכָ֛ה אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן עֶ֣שֶׂר יְרִיעֹ֑ת שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֗ר וּתְכֵ֤לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ וְתוֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֔י כְּרֻבִ֛ים מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֖ב עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃
36:8
Then all the skilled among those engaged in the work made the tabernacle of ten strips of cloth, which they made of fine twisted linen, blue, purple, and crimson yarns; into these they worked a design of cherubim.

And every wise-hearted man among them that wrought the work made the tabernacle with ten curtains: of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with cherubim the work of the skilful workman made he them.

וַעֲבָדוּ כָל חַכִּימֵי לִבָּא בְּעָבְדֵי עִבִדְתָּא יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא עֲשַׂר יְרִיעָן דְּבוּץ שְׁזִיר וְתִכְלָא וְאַרְגְּוָנָא וּצְבַע זְהוֹרִי צוּרַת כְּרוּבִין עוֹבַד אָמָּן עֲבַד יָתְהוֹן:

אֹ֜רֶךְ הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָֽאַחַ֗ת שְׁמֹנֶ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֙חַב֙ אַרְבַּ֣ע בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה הַיְרִיעָ֖ה הָאֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֖ת לְכָל־הַיְרִיעֹֽת׃
36:9
The length of each cloth was twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each cloth was four cubits, all cloths having the same measurements.

The length of each curtain was eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains had one measure.

אֻרְכָּא דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא עַסְרִין וּתְמַנְיָא אַמִּין וּפוּתְיָא אַרְבַּע אַמִּין דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא מְשַׁחְתָא חֲדָא לְכָל יְרִיעָתָא:

וַיְחַבֵּר֙ אֶת־חֲמֵ֣שׁ הַיְרִיעֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָ֑ת וְחָמֵ֤שׁ יְרִיעֹת֙ חִבַּ֔ר אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָֽת׃
36:10
They joined five of the cloths to one another, and they joined the other five cloths to one another.

And he coupled five curtains one to another; and the other five curtains he coupled one to another.

וְלָפֵף יָת חָמֵשׁ יְרִיעָן חֲדָא עִם חֲדָא וְחָמֵשׁ יְרִיעָן לָפֵף חֲדָא עִם חֲדָא:

וַיַּ֜עַשׂ לֻֽלְאֹ֣ת תְּכֵ֗לֶת עַ֣ל שְׂפַ֤ת הַיְרִיעָה֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת מִקָּצָ֖ה בַּמַּחְבָּ֑רֶת כֵּ֤ן עָשָׂה֙ בִּשְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה הַקִּ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה בַּמַּחְבֶּ֖רֶת הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃
36:11
They made loops of blue wool on the edge of the outermost cloth of the one set, and did the same on the edge of the outermost cloth of the other set:

And he made loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain that was outmost in the first set; likewise he made in the edge of the curtain that was outmost in the second set.

וַעֲבַד עֲנוּבִין דְּתִכְלָא עַל סִפְתָא דִירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא מִסִּטְרָא בֵּית לוֹפֵי כֵּן עֲבַד בְּסִפְתָא דִּירִיעֲתָא בְּסִטְרָא בֵּית לוֹפֵי תִּנְיֵתָא:

חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֮ בַּיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאֶחָת֒ וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֙ בִּקְצֵ֣ה הַיְרִיעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בַּמַּחְבֶּ֣רֶת הַשֵּׁנִ֑ית מַקְבִּילֹת֙ הַלֻּ֣לָאֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָֽת׃
36:12
they made fifty loops on the one cloth, and they made fifty loops on the edge of the end cloth of the other set, the loops being opposite one another.
36:12
Fifty loops made he in the one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain that was in the second set; the loops were opposite one to another.

חַמְשִׁין עֲנוּבִין עֲבַד בִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא וְחַמְשִׁין עֲנוּבִין עֲבַד בְּסִטְרָא דִירִיעֲתָא דְבֵית לוֹפֵי תִּנְיֵתָא מְכַוְּנָן עֲנוּבַיָּא חֲדָא לָקֳבֵל חֲדָא:

וַיַּ֕עַשׂ חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים קַרְסֵ֣י זָהָ֑ב וַיְחַבֵּ֨ר אֶת־הַיְרִעֹ֜ת אַחַ֤ת אֶל־אַחַת֙ בַּקְּרָסִ֔ים וַֽיְהִ֥י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן אֶחָֽד׃ (ס)
36:13
And they made fifty gold clasps and coupled the unitsaLit. “strip of cloth,” here used collectively. to one another with the clasps, so that the tabernacle became one whole.

And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains one to another with the clasps; so the tabernacle was one.

וַעֲבַד חַמְשִׁין פּוּרְפִין דִּדְהָב וְלָפֵף יָת יְרִיעֲתָא חֲדָא עִם חֲדָא בְּפוּרְפַיָּא וַהֲוָה מַשְׁכְּנָא חָד:

וַיַּ֙עַשׂ֙ יְרִיעֹ֣ת עִזִּ֔ים לְאֹ֖הֶל עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עַשְׁתֵּֽי־עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה יְרִיעֹ֖ת עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃
36:14
They made cloths of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; they made the cloths eleven in number.

And he made curtains of goats’hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains he made them.

וַעֲבַד יְרִיעָן דִּמְעַזֵּי לִפְרָסָא עַל מַשְׁכְּנָא חַד עֲשַׂר יְרִיעָן עֲבַד יָתְהֶן:

אֹ֜רֶךְ הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאַחַ֗ת שְׁלֹשִׁים֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וְאַרְבַּ֣ע אַמּ֔וֹת רֹ֖חַב הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֣ה אַחַ֔ת לְעַשְׁתֵּ֥י עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה יְרִיעֹֽת׃
36:15
The length of each cloth was thirty cubits, and the width of each cloth was four cubits, the eleven cloths having the same measurements.

The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits the breadth of each curtain; the eleven curtains had one measure.

אֻרְכָּא דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא תְּלָתִין בְּאַמִּין וְאַרְבַּע אַמִּין פּוּתְיָא דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא מְשַׁחְתָּא חֲדָא לְחַד עֲשַׂר יְרִיעָן:
ל"ו:ט"ז
וַיְחַבֵּ֛ר אֶת־חֲמֵ֥שׁ הַיְרִיעֹ֖ת לְבָ֑ד וְאֶת־שֵׁ֥שׁ הַיְרִיעֹ֖ת לְבָֽד׃
36:16
They joined five of the cloths by themselves, and the other six cloths by themselves.

And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.

וְלָפֵף יָת חֲמֵשׁ יְרִיעָן לְחוֹד וְיָת שֵׁת יְרִיעָן לְחוֹד:

וַיַּ֜עַשׂ לֻֽלָאֹ֣ת חֲמִשִּׁ֗ים עַ֚ל שְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה הַקִּיצֹנָ֖ה בַּמַּחְבָּ֑רֶת וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֙ עַל־שְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה הַחֹבֶ֖רֶת הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃
36:17
They made fifty loops on the edge of the outermost cloth of the one set, and they made fifty loops on the edge of the end cloth of the other set.

And he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was outmost in the first set, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which was outmost in the second set.

וַעֲבַד עֲנוּבִין חַמְשִׁין עַל סִפְתָא דִירִיעֲתָא בְּסִטְרָא בֵּית לוֹפֵי וְחַמְשִׁין עֲנוּבִין עֲבַד עַל סִפְתָא דִירִיעֲתָא דְבֵית לוֹפֵי תִּנְיֵתָא:
ל"ו:י"ח
וַיַּ֛עַשׂ קַרְסֵ֥י נְחֹ֖שֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁ֑ים לְחַבֵּ֥ר אֶת־הָאֹ֖הֶל לִֽהְיֹ֥ת אֶחָֽד׃
36:18
They made fifty copper clasps to couple the tent together so that it might become one whole.

And he made fifty clasps of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.

וַעֲבַד פּוּרְפִין דִּנְחָשָׁא חַמְשִׁין לְלַפָּפָא יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא לְמֵהֱוֵי חָד:
ל"ו:י"ט
וַיַּ֤עַשׂ מִכְסֶה֙ לָאֹ֔הֶל עֹרֹ֥ת אֵלִ֖ים מְאָדָּמִ֑ים וּמִכְסֵ֛ה עֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃ (ס)
36:19
And they made a covering of tanned ram skins for the tent, and a covering of dolphin skins above.
36:19
And he made a covering for the tent of rams’skins dyed red, and a covering of sealskins above.

וַעֲבַד חוֹפָאָה לְמַשְׁכְּנָא מַשְׁכֵי דְדִכְרֵי מְסַמְּקֵי וְחוֹפָאָה מַשְׁכֵי דְסַסְגּוֹנָא מִלְּעֵלָּא:
