ל׳:א׳
וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ מִזְבֵּ֖חַ מִקְטַ֣ר קְטֹ֑רֶת עֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּ֖ים תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתֽוֹ׃
30:1
You shall make an altar for burning incense; make it of acacia wood.

And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon; of acacia-wood shalt thou make it.

וְתַעְבֵּד מַדְבְּחָא לְאַקְטָרָא עֲלוֹהִי קְטֹרֶת בּוּסְמַיָּא דְּאָעֵי שִׁטִּין תַּעְבֵּד יָתֵיהּ:
מקטר קטרת. לְהַעֲלוֹת עָלָיו קִטּוּר עֲשַׁן סַמִּים:

אַמָּ֨ה אָרְכּ֜וֹ וְאַמָּ֤ה רָחְבּוֹ֙ רָב֣וּעַ יִהְיֶ֔ה וְאַמָּתַ֖יִם קֹמָת֑וֹ מִמֶּ֖נּוּ קַרְנֹתָֽיו׃
30:2
It shall be a cubit long and a cubit wide—it shall be square—and two cubits high, its horns of one piece with it.
30:2
A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be; and two cubits shall be the height thereof; the horns thereof shall be of one piece with it.

אַמְּתָא אֻרְכֵּיהּ וְאַמְּתָא פְתָיֵהּ מְרַבַּע יְהֵי וְתַרְתֵּין אַמִּין רוּמֵיהּ מִנֵּיהּ קַרְנוֹהִי:
ל׳:ג׳
וְצִפִּיתָ֨ אֹת֜וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֗וֹר אֶת־גַּגּ֧וֹ וְאֶת־קִירֹתָ֛יו סָבִ֖יב וְאֶת־קַרְנֹתָ֑יו וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ לּ֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃
30:3
Overlay it with pure gold: its top, its sides round about, and its horns; and make a gold molding for it round about.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.

וְתַחֲפֵי יָתֵיהּ דְּהַב דְּכֵי יָת אִגָּרֵיהּ וְיָת כָּתְלוֹהִי סְחוֹר סְחוֹר וְיָת קַרְנוֹהִי וְתַעְבֵּד לֵיהּ דֵּיר דִּדְהַב סְחוֹר סְחוֹר:
את גגו. זֶה הָיָה לוֹ גַּג, אֲבָל מִזְבַּח הָעוֹלָה לֹא הָיָה לוֹ גַּג אֶלָּא מְמַלְּאִים חֲלָלוֹ אֲדָמָה בְּכָל חֲנִיָּתָן:
זר זהב. סִימָן הוּא לְכֶתֶר כְּהֻנָּה:

וּשְׁתֵּי֩ טַבְּעֹ֨ת זָהָ֜ב תַּֽעֲשֶׂה־לּ֣וֹ ׀ מִתַּ֣חַת לְזֵר֗וֹ עַ֚ל שְׁתֵּ֣י צַלְעֹתָ֔יו תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה עַל־שְׁנֵ֣י צִדָּ֑יו וְהָיָה֙ לְבָתִּ֣ים לְבַדִּ֔ים לָשֵׂ֥את אֹת֖וֹ בָּהֵֽמָּה׃
30:4
And make two gold rings for it under its molding; make them on its two side walls, on oppositeaLit. “its two.” sides. They shall serve as holders for poles with which to carry it.

And two golden rings shalt thou make for it under the crown thereof, upon the two ribs thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make them; and they shall be for places for staves wherewith to bear it.
ל׳:ד׳
וְתַרְתֵּין עִזְקַן דִּדְהַב תַּעְבֵּד לֵיהּ מִלְּרַע לְדֵירֵיהּ עַל תַּרְתֵּין זִוְיָתֵיהּ תַּעְבֵּד עַל תְּרֵין סִטְרוֹהִי וִיהֵי לְאַתְרָא לַאֲרִיחַיָּא לְמִטַּל יָתֵיהּ בְּהוֹן:
צלעתיו. כָּאן הוּא לְשׁוֹן זָוִיּוֹת, כְּתַרְגּוּמוֹ, לְפִי שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר עַל שְׁנֵי צִדָּיו – עַל שְׁתֵּי זָוִיּוֹת שֶׁבִּשְׁנֵי צִדָּיו:
והיה. מַעֲשֵׂה הַטַּבָּעוֹת הָאֵלֶּה:
לבתים לבדים. בַּיִת תִּהְיֶה הַטַּבַּעַת לַבַּד:

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ אֶת־הַבַּדִּ֖ים עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וְצִפִּיתָ֥ אֹתָ֖ם זָהָֽב׃
30:5
Make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.
30:5
And thou shalt make the staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with gold.
ל׳:ה׳
וְתַעְבֵּד יָת אֲרִיחַיָּא דְּאָעֵי שִׁטִּין וְתַחֲפֵי יָתְהוֹן דַּהֲבָא:
ל׳:ו׳
וְנָתַתָּ֤ה אֹתוֹ֙ לִפְנֵ֣י הַפָּרֹ֔כֶת אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־אֲרֹ֣ן הָעֵדֻ֑ת לִפְנֵ֣י הַכַּפֹּ֗רֶת אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־הָ֣עֵדֻ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֛ר אִוָּעֵ֥ד לְךָ֖ שָֽׁמָּה׃
30:6
Place it in front of the curtain that is over the Ark of the Pact—in front of the cover that is over the Pact—where I will meet with you.
30:6
And thou shalt put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the ark-cover that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.
ל׳:ו׳
וְתִתֵּן יָתֵיהּ קֳדָם פָּרֻכְתָּא דִּי עַל אֲרוֹנָא דְסַהֲדוּתָא לִקֳדָם כַּפֻּרְתָּא דִּי עַל סַהֲדוּתָא דִּי אֲזַמֵּן מֵימְרִי לָךְ תַּמָּן:
לפני הפרכת. שֶׁמָּא תֹאמַר מָשׁוּךְ מִכְּנֶגֶד הָאָרוֹן לַצָּפוֹן אוֹ לַדָּרוֹם, תַּ"לֹ לִפְנֵי הַכַּפֹּרֶת מְכֻוָּן כְּנֶגֶד הָאָרוֹן מִבַּחוּץ:
ל׳:ז׳
וְהִקְטִ֥יר עָלָ֛יו אַהֲרֹ֖ן קְטֹ֣רֶת סַמִּ֑ים בַּבֹּ֣קֶר בַּבֹּ֗קֶר בְּהֵיטִיב֛וֹ אֶת־הַנֵּרֹ֖ת יַקְטִירֶֽנָּה׃
30:7
On it Aaron shall burn aromatic incense: he shall burn it every morning when he tends the lamps,

And Aaron shall burn thereon incense of sweet spices; every morning, when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn it.

וְיַקְטַר עֲלוֹהִי אַהֲרֹן קְטֹרֶת בּוּסְמִין בִּצְפַר בִּצְפַר בְּאַתְקָנוּתֵיהּ יָת בּוֹצִינַיָּא יַסֵּקִנַּהּ:
בהיטיבו. לְשׁוֹן נִקּוּי הַבָּזִיכִין שֶׁל הַמְּנוֹרָה מִדֶּשֶן הַפְּתִילוֹת שֶׁנִּשְׂרְפוּ בַלַּיְלָה, וְהָיָה מְטִיבָן בְּכָל בֹּקֶר וָבֹקֶר:
הנרת. לו"שיש בְּלַעַז, וְכֵן כָּל נֵרוֹת הָאֲמוּרוֹת בַּמְּנוֹרָה, חוּץ מִמָּקוֹם שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר שָׁם הַעֲלָאָה שֶׁהוּא לְשׁוֹן הַדְלָקָה:
ל׳:ח׳
וּבְהַעֲלֹ֨ת אַהֲרֹ֧ן אֶת־הַנֵּרֹ֛ת בֵּ֥ין הָעֲרְבַּ֖יִם יַקְטִירֶ֑נָּה קְטֹ֧רֶת תָּמִ֛יד לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
30:8
and Aaron shall burn it at twilight when he lights the lamps—a regular incense offering before the LORD throughout the ages.
30:8
And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at dusk, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.
ל׳:ח׳
וּבְאַדְלָקוּת אַהֲרֹן יָת בּוֹצִינַיָּא בֵּין שִׁמְשַׁיָּא יַסֵּקִנַּהּ קְטֹרֶת בּוּסְמַיָּא תְדִירָא קֳדָם יְיָ לְדָרֵיכוֹן:
ובהעלת. כְּשֶׁיַּדְלִיקֵם לְהַעֲלוֹת לַהַבְתָן:
יקטירנה. בְּכָל יוֹם, פְּרָס מַקְטִיר שַׁחֲרִית וּפְרָס מַקְטִיר בֵּין הָעַרְבַּיִם (כריתות ו'):

לֹא־תַעֲל֥וּ עָלָ֛יו קְטֹ֥רֶת זָרָ֖ה וְעֹלָ֣ה וּמִנְחָ֑ה וְנֵ֕סֶךְ לֹ֥א תִסְּכ֖וּ עָלָֽיו׃
30:9
You shall not offer alien incense on it, or a burnt offering or a meal offering; neither shall you pour a libation on it.
30:9
Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt-offering, nor meal-offering; and ye shall pour no drink-offering thereon.
ל׳:ט׳
לָא תַסְּקוּן עֲלוֹהִי קְטֹרֶת בּוּסְמִין נוּכְרָאִין וַעֲלָתָא וּמִנְחָתָא וְנִסְכָּא לָא תְנַסְּכוּן עֲלוֹהִי:
לא תעלו עליו. עַל מִזְבֵּחַ זֶה:
קטרת זרה. שׁוּם קְטֹרֶת שֶׁל נְדָבָה – כֻּלָּן זָרוֹת לוֹ חוּץ מִזּוֹ:
ועלה ומנחה. וְלֹא עוֹלָה וּמִנְחָה, עוֹלָה שֶׁל בְּהֵמָה וָעוֹף, מִנְחָה הִיא שֶׁל לֶחֶם:
ל׳:י׳
וְכִפֶּ֤ר אַהֲרֹן֙ עַל־קַרְנֹתָ֔יו אַחַ֖ת בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה מִדַּ֞ם חַטַּ֣את הַכִּפֻּרִ֗ים אַחַ֤ת בַּשָּׁנָה֙ יְכַפֵּ֤ר עָלָיו֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם קֹֽדֶשׁ־קָֽדָשִׁ֥ים ה֖וּא לַיהוָֽה׃ (פ)
30:10
Once a year Aaron shall perform purification upon its horns with blood of the sin offering of purification; purification shall be performed upon it once a year throughout the ages. It is most holy to the LORD.
30:10
And Aaron shall make atonement upon the horns of it once in the year; with the blood of the sin-offering of atonement once in the year shall he make atonement for it throughout your generations; it is most holy unto the LORD.’

וִיכַפֵּר אַהֲרֹן עַל קַרְנוֹהִי חֲדָא בְּשַׁתָּא מִדְּמָא חַטַּאת כִּפּוּרַיָּא חֲדָא בְשַׁתָּא יְכַפֵּר עֲלוֹהִי לְדָרֵיכוֹן קֹדֶשׁ קוּדְשִׁין הוּא קֳדָם יְיָ:
וכפר אהרן. מַתַּן דָּמִים:
אחת בשנה. בְּיוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים, הוּא שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בְּאַחֲרֵי מוֹת וְיָצָא אֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ אֲשֶׁר לִפְנֵי ה' וְכִפֶּר עָלָיו (ויקרא ט"ז):
חטאת הכפרים. הֵם פַּר וְשָׂעִיר שֶׁל יוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים הַמְכַפְּרִים עַל טֻמְאַת מִקְדָּשׁ וְקָדָשָׁיו:
קדש קדשים. הַמִּזְבֵּחַ מְקֻדָּשׁ לִדְבָרִים הַלָּלוּ בִּלְבַד וְלֹא לַעֲבוֹדָה אַחֶרֶת:
