ל׳:א׳
וְהָיָה֩ כִֽי־יָבֹ֨אוּ עָלֶ֜יךָ כָּל־הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה הַבְּרָכָה֙ וְהַקְּלָלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָתַ֖תִּי לְפָנֶ֑יךָ וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ֙ אֶל־לְבָבֶ֔ךָ בְּכָל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֧ר הִדִּיחֲךָ֛ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ שָֽׁמָּה׃
30:1
When all these things befall you—the blessing and the curse that I have set before you—and you take them to heart amidst the various nations to which the LORD your God has banished you,

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt bethink thyself among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

וִיהֵי אֲרֵי יֵיתוּן עֲלָךְ כָּל פִּתְגָּמַיָּא הָאִלֵּין בִּרְכַן וּלְוָטִין דִּי יְהָבִית קֳדָמָךְ וּתְתוּב לְלִבָּךְ בְּכָל עַמְמַיָּא דִּי אַגְלָךְ יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ לְתַמָּן:
ל׳:ב׳
וְשַׁבְתָּ֞ עַד־יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֣ בְקֹל֔וֹ כְּכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּ֑וֹם אַתָּ֣ה וּבָנֶ֔יךָ בְּכָל־לְבָבְךָ֖ וּבְכָל־נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃
30:2
and you return to the LORD your God, and you and your children heed His command with all your heart and soul, just as I enjoin upon you this day,

and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and hearken to His voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul;
ל׳:ב׳
וּתְתוּב לְדַחַלְתָּא דַיְיָ אֱלָהָךְ וּתְקַבַּל לְמֵימְרֵיהּ כְּכֹל דִּי אֲנָא מְפַקְּדָךְ יוֹמָא דֵין אַתְּ וּבְנָיךְ בְּכָל לִבָּךְ וּבְכָל נַפְשָׁךְ:
ל׳:ג׳
וְשָׁ֨ב יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ אֶת־שְׁבוּתְךָ֖ וְרִחֲמֶ֑ךָ וְשָׁ֗ב וְקִבֶּצְךָ֙ מִכָּל־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֱפִֽיצְךָ֛ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ שָֽׁמָּה׃
30:3
then the LORD your God will restore your fortunesaOthers “captivity.” and take you back in love. He will bring you together again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you.
30:3
that then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the peoples, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
ל׳:ג׳
וִיתוּב יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ יָת שָׁבֵי גַלְוָתָךְ וִירַחַם עֲלָךְ וִיתוּב וְיִכְנְשִׁנָּךְ מִכָּל עַמְמַיָּא דִּי יְבַדְּרִנָּךְ יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ לְתַמָּן:
ושב ה' אלהיך את שבותך. הָיָה לוֹ לִכְתֹּב "וְהֵשִׁיב" אֶת שְׁבוּתְךָ, רַבּוֹתֵינוּ לָמְדוּ מִכָּאן כִּבְיָכוֹל שֶׁהַשְּׁכִינָה שְׁרוּיָה עִם יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּצָרַת גָּלוּתָם, וּכְשֶׁנִּגְאָלִין הִכְתִּיב גְּאֻלָּה לְעַצְמוֹ — שֶׁהוּא יָשׁוּב עִמָּהֶם. וְעוֹד יֵשׁ לוֹמַר שֶׁגָּדוֹל יוֹם קִבּוּץ גָּלֻיּוֹת וּבְקֹשִׁי, כְּאִלּוּ הוּא עַצְמוֹ צָרִיךְ לִהְיוֹת אוֹחֵז בְּיָדָיו מַמָּשׁ אִישׁ אִישׁ מִמְּקוֹמוֹ, כָּעִנְיָן שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (ישעיהו כ"ז) "וְאַתֶּם תְּלֻקְּטוּ לְאַחַד אֶחָד בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל", וְאַף בְּגָלֻיּוֹת שְׁאָר הָאֻמּוֹת מָצִינוּ כֵן (ירמיהו מ"ח) "וְשַׁבְתִּי שְׁבוּת מוֹאָב":

אִם־יִהְיֶ֥ה נִֽדַּחֲךָ֖ בִּקְצֵ֣ה הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם מִשָּׁ֗ם יְקַבֶּצְךָ֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ וּמִשָּׁ֖ם יִקָּחֶֽךָ׃
30:4
Even if your outcasts are at the ends of the world,bLit. “sky.” from there the LORD your God will gather you, from there He will fetch you.
30:4
If any of thine that are dispersed be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will He fetch thee.
ל׳:ד׳
אִם יְהֵי גַלְוָתָךְ בִּסְיָפֵי שְׁמַיָּא מִתַּמָּן יִכְנְשִׁנָּךְ יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ וּמִתַּמָּן יְקָרְבִנָּךְ:
ל׳:ה׳
וֶהֱבִֽיאֲךָ֞ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ אֶל־הָאָ֛רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יָרְשׁ֥וּ אֲבֹתֶ֖יךָ וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֑הּ וְהֵיטִֽבְךָ֥ וְהִרְבְּךָ֖ מֵאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃
30:5
And the LORD your God will bring you to the land that your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will make you more prosperous and more numerous than your fathers.
30:5
And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and He will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. .

וְיָעֵלִנָּךְ יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ לְאַרְעָא דִּירִיתוּ אֲבָהָתָךְ וְתֵרְתַהּ וְיוֹטֶב לָךְ וְיַסְגִּנָּךְ מֵאֲבָהָתָךְ:
ל׳:ו׳
וּמָ֨ל יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ אֶת־לְבָבְךָ֖ וְאֶת־לְבַ֣ב זַרְעֶ֑ךָ לְאַהֲבָ֞ה אֶת־יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ בְּכָל־לְבָבְךָ֥ וּבְכָל־נַפְשְׁךָ֖ לְמַ֥עַן חַיֶּֽיךָ׃
30:6
Then the LORD your God will open upcOthers “circumcise.” your heart and the hearts of your offspring to love the LORD your God with all your heart and soul, in order that you may live.
30:6
And the LORD thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

וְיֶעְדֵּי יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ יָת טַפְשׁוּת לִבָּךְ וְיָת טַפְשׁוּת לִבָּא דִבְנָיךְ לְמִרְחַם יָת יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ בְּכָל לִבָּךְ וּבְכָל נַפְשָׁךְ בְּדִיל חַיָּיךְ:
